Why did you join 

Miss Philippines International of BC?

As Filipinos are very passionate about pageantry, I wanted to participate to be a representative of a Filipina-Canadian in my community.  It is a great opportunity to practice and improve my public speaking skills.   Moreover, I wanted to learn and understand the pageant industry.

What was the most exciting part of the pageant?

The most exciting part was being introduced to so many extraordinary people.  We have been so lucky enough to meet a few celebrities like Yeng Constantino, Dingdong Dantes and George Nozuka.

What do you aspire to be in five years?

As I am in school pursuing a career in healthcare, I hope to have graduated as a registered nurse.  I see myself working as a nurse for Unicef while travelling on the side.
