Adelynn Cupino-Yambao is a veteran beauty queen with her most recent win of the Mrs. Philippines World 2022 title in Hawaii which led to representing the Philippines in Mrs. World in Las Vegas. Her past pageant experiences include representing Canada in Miss International 2004 in Tokyo, representing Canada in Miss Petite International 2003 in Texas, and winning Bb. Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) International of BC 2002 in Vancouver. She is the Founder and Director of the Miss Philippines International of BC & Canada pageant, a unique platform to celebrate the Filipino-Canadian culture while setting a foundation for diverse women to thrive in personal development, female embodiment, and cultural empowerment.  Adelynn is a dedicated mom of two children and has worked for the BC Government for over 12 years with the Ministry of Social Development. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Communication from Simon Fraser University in 2007. Currently in her free time, she coaches aspirants in the areas of stage presence, catwalk, and interview skills as she is committed to ensuring that each one of her representatives is successful with their pageant journeys. She has trained representatives for numerous local and national competitions including Miss Universe Canada, Miss Vancouver, and Binibining Pilipinas of the World. Many of her trainees have won various national titles, and later embarked on their own unique career aspirations. As a proud director and titleholder, the pageant world is held in high importance in her heart. Adelynn’s belief in progression over perfection fuels her to challenge her candidates to reach new heights and aim for excellence. She is driven by a sense of purpose to encourage young women to be advocates of change within themselves and their communities. The essence of leadership is having genuine purpose, and this is what her pageant organization is anchored by: the objective of cultivating beauty beyond the surface. She emphasizes setting a foundation for young women to thrive alongside one another in a sisterhood that surpasses the spotlight and the stage. It is the experience for women to champion other women and a beauty pageant that goes beyond the exterior. Adelynn hopes to use this platform to educate, encourage and empower young women to be the best version of themselves, emphasizing that the only true competition is always within. Miss Philippines International of BC & Canada has proudly donated to Young Focus Philippines, an established organization committed to providing quality education to children in need. Moreover, they have contributed to PAGASA: People of Accountable Governance and Sustainable Action, an organization in the Philippines providing survival packs to families in communities that have lost their livelihood during the pandemic. Most recently, Adelynn has donated to Find Your Stride, a charitable initiative dedicated to helping vulnerable women access the skills and support they need so that they and their families can thrive in life.
